Gonzalez is thought to be one of the most significant tight ends of all time. He holds the NFL's record for receiving yards as well as receptions as a tight end. Furthermore, he ranks third in total receptions. Gonzalez was a part of the first 12 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, who picked him in the first round of the 1997 NFL Draft. During his last five seasons being with the Falcons, he was a part of the Atlanta Falcons. Gonzalez was retired in 2013 and was an analyst for football at NFL on Prime Video. He previously worked for CBS Sports and Fox Sports. Gonzalez also received six first-team All-Pros. Gonzalez is well-known for his endurance and rare mistakes. He was a regular in 272 games during the regular season and only lost two fumbles in 1,327 plays. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2019.
